Identity Collages

In this mini series of collages I wanted to capture the essence of femininity, masculinity, and nonbinary identities, utilizing stereotypical colors and imagery to evoke the societal narratives.

The female collage represents softness and fluidity symbolizing traditional femininity, while the male collage bursts with blues, angular shapes, and rigid tools, reflecting conventional masculinity. The nonbinary piece, however, incorporates gradients, challengeing binary confines. With these collages, I invite viewers to reflect on the complexity of identity and the interplay between societal expectations and personal authenticity.
